Polishing and Proofreading
While we usually write on a computer, proofreading happens best on paper. When we proofread on the screen, everything is too familiar, a continuation of the same static environment in which we've been writing, which often prevents us from seeing our mistakes easily. Proofreading a printed copy, by contrast, allows us to view our work in a new way.
Our proofreading module explains why proofreading is essential, identifies common errors to look for in your work, and demonstrates how to spot and avoid these errors. It also helps you refine your skills via fun, interactive practice with immediate feedback.
